Directions to RISC Car Parking
Coming from Reading
- Take first left off London Street (i.e. going out of town) into South Street.
- Take first left again into East Street.
- Go right to the bottom (where the road ends).
- You will see parking on your left but DO NOT park on lower level - you risk being wheel clamped!
- Go up the ramp (it's all outdoors) to the upper level.
- You are now on a level with the back of RISC centre and can park anywhere on the level after 6:00pm.
Coming from A4/M4/A329(M)
- Drive down London Road past Royal Berks hospital.
- Take third turning on right after hospital.
- This is East Street, a small road which is directly after "The Turks" pub.
- Go to right to the bottom (where the road ends).
- You will see parking on your left but DO NOT park on lower level - you risk being wheel clamped!
- Go up the ramp (it's all outdoors) to the upper level.
- You are now on a level with the back of RISC centre and can park anywhere on the level after 6:00pm.

1) From the IDR
Come off the IDR on the exit just after you see the Hexagon and the 'Yell' building on the right, where the exit is signed 'Station Drop Off Point - Reading West' and 'Garrard St Car Park'. Take the 3rd turning off the roundabout into Friar St. Jongleurs is a short way along on the left (just opposite the old Sainsburys).
However, rather than continuing down Friar St as far as Jongleurs, to get to Garrard St car park, turn first left into Greyfriars Road (at the point where Frairs St narrows to become buses only during the day) and then turn first right into Garrard St.
2) From the Reading Railway Station
From the roundabout outside the staion, take Station Road (which leads out away from the station). Friar Street is the first road you meet, at a cross roads. Turn right into Friar St and Jongleurs is on your left, just past McDonalds.
